Amy Rat

This is our new little girl, Amy. Lachlan bought her on Saturday 27th Oct 07 with his birthday money. She is the sweetest little baby girl. Amy is already using her litter tray. We think she may be about 6 weeks old. She is very friendly. She is not scared of us. Only if we pick her up, she is a bit scared. When we first put her in her cage, we were just watching her look around her new home, she came over to us, and sniffed us, one by one. Amy is already used to me. Today we had people over looking at her, and she was scared with them, and wanted to come to me. She calmed down in my hands, as though she trusted me. I was so wrapped. It's only been 2 days!
I have definitely fallen for her. She is so cute. I want one now too. Lachlan said I can be the mum and care taker, and he is the owner. We have told him that he has to look after her, and he has been, so far. He has said that every Saturday he is going to clean out her cage. We will see how long this lasts for. He has been feeding her every day, and changing the water. I have been helping him of course.
