I came home from hospital yesterday. I have had my surgery. I'm feeling a bit sore. I have four holes in my stomach. I feel like I have indigestion all the time. I can only eat liquid foods for the first three weeks. I don't know if I am feeling hungry, sore or something else. It's a strange feeling. I can't get comfortable. I don't feel sick or anything. We will see how it goes.

I am booked in for Lap Band surgery on 11th May 2010. I am starting Optifast on Tuesday, so not looking forward to that, but can't wait for it at the same time. I'm very excited about it all. I’m just praying everything goes well for me. I’m sure it will.
I am excited to be starting my new life. My daughter Kasey and I, are starting a scrapbook album for my journey, so that will be good to look back on.
I know it will all go well, it's just a bit scary at the moment.
Wish me luck!
